night out @ PALAWAN
OMG I'm going to PALAWAN!!
It wasn't my first time to go out, yet it was my first time to visit the "oh so famous" Palawan Bar II. It was one ordinary Friday morning when it all started. As usual I am doing my job as an ordinary kid in an ordinary day was my very goal everyday. Eating my tiny 2-day old Pandesals partner with the very, very delicioso cheese that could only be bought in the Laban! Laban! bakery located at the front of the Whispering Gate.
Anyways back to the story, I wasn't really expecting a call from a friend of mine. He asked me out if we could go bar hopping that night. (Well as always i said YEAH Sure why not! as long as all expense free.)
We had our dinner near Araneta (a place not to be in if you are a homophobic) and played a few games at timezone. As time flew so quickly we decided that it is already"SHOW TIME"
I was not really expecting that there are really comedians out there in the club! OMG was the only words i could only say when i was laughing my butt out ha ha! September 19' 08 was the grand finals of Palawan Idol (a competition to have an additional voice of Palawan Bar)
The competition was hosted by the four comedians namely choc NUT B., Regine B. (DA bubuli sisters) Katti (the drum diva) and Kurt David (the only guy in their group). There were only three competitors left. The cross dresser, the macho gay guy, and the performer woman. I really had fun watching them perform and as the competition reaches its goal, POSH the crossdresser was hail! as the very first PALAWAN IDOL '08.
She (or technically speaking he) was given the title as the Piggery diva, the latest additional voice of Palawan Bar II. Funny yet it is true. Posh really rocked her two competitors. Not that I am saying that the other two eat her dust totally but really if you are really there at her performance you could really say "man this is a close fight of the sexes". She sung so Flawlessly!

Seconds after the competition, The music went berserk. Dancers are pretty well warmed up and ready to go. Alcohol free flowing from our veins, inhibitions are already suppressed by the blissful and sedative effects of beer and alcohol. Gee i really had a great time sweating myself just by through dancing and shouting PARTY! party! PARTY! and the best part is, I ain't alone dancing! At last i had a dance partner that is really worthy. lols
As the sun decided to rise. We ended the party with a cheers! an Ice Cream and lots of headaches. lols!
Definitely! i recommend PALAWAN BAR 2 is the place to be for PLU's. Next stop is Government and Embassy (whatta name!, makes it more exciting! ) You better tag along when i go back there cause baby you would be missing half of your life if you missed going to Palawan Bar and tip of advice, you should also go to Palawan island. We have a farm there. It is so beautiful there, I swear.
